DETAILS OF THE OPEN WORKSHOPS

On Wednesday evenings from mid June to end of August 2023, for beginner (with some sewing experience) or intermediate levels, I offer sewing sessions for "open projects".
During these 2 hours workshop you will bring your own sewing project (or ask for one), and get help and advices.

All the sewing workshops will take place at the Lauwerecht 55, Utrecht (more info after registration).

Who is it for?

If you are a beginner (with some sewing experience) or intermediate level, and you want to get helped in your sewing prijects, these workshops are made for you.

I will help you to bring your projects to life, by guiding you and giving you personalized advices.

Prerequisite: You are capable of setting up your sewing machine (both threads), you know the basics of thread tension, you have already completed at least 1 sewing project, or you have already taken sewing classes.

If you are an absolute beginner, please check our sewing programs.

How does it work?

You will come with your own project and fabrics, to work on it together, ask questions, and receive advice.
If you don't have a specific project idea but want to have fun with sewing, I can give you some sewing project ideas.

Materials:
Equipment provided: basic sewing machine, scissors, pins, thread cutter, seam ripper, rulers, measuring tape.
Please bring your own fabrics and threads (spool and bobbin).

☕️ 🍪 To keep you up during the workshop, I will provide some cookies and hot drinks. You can bring your own food if you wish.

Type of project:
Project ideas: skirt, wrap dress, pie carrier bag, small travel bag, children's backpacks, and various accessories...
If you come with your own project, please write to me so that we can validate together the feasibility of your project based on your level.

🎟 Tickets: 30€/session
⚠️ The workshops will take place with a maximum of 6 person. Book at least 48h in advance to make sure to have a spot. In case you change your mind, you can reschedule until 48h before the workshop. No refund.
