➡️ What you will make during the workshops: 4 sustainable baby wipes, 1 teething ring, 1 travel changing mat, 1 bib and 1 small diaper bag.
Lesson 1: The basics of sewing with a sewing machine. You will learn how to use a sewing machine and what are the basics of stitching with it. You will start sewing by making baby wipes.
Lesson 2: Using different kind of fabrics and adjusting the sewing machine. You will be creating a fun teething ring. Then you will start a travel changing mat and understand how Quilting works.
Lesson 3: Assembling a sewing bias. In the session you will learn how to sew correctly a bias, by finishing the travel changing mat.
Lesson 4: Using a pattern and following instructions. For the 4th lesson I will explain you how patterns work and what you need to know about it, you will start to use your first pattern to make a bib.
Lesson 5: Stitching a zipper and work with lining. Finally in the last session you will continue by making a small diaper bag.

All the sewing workshops will take place at the Lauwerecht 55, Utrecht (more info after registration).
I will explain you step by step how to proceed. The purpose of these workshops will be to begin with sewing and have some fun creating a sustainable baby set.
No material and no skills needed. Those workshops are aimed to be easy for beginners, for creative and non creative persons. If you already did some sewing before, I will adapt the class for you and make sure you learn new skills!
⭐️ I will provide all materials : fabric, needles, and even sewing machine. Of course if you want to bring your own material (fabrics and machine) you are very welcome. This workshop will be held with only Oeko Tex fabrics, so the colors and patterns might be more limited than other type of workshops. Thank you for your understanding.
☕️ 🍪 To keep you up during the workshop, I will provide some cookies and hot drinks. You can bring your own food if you wish.

Workshop will be in 🇬🇧 English and/or 🇫🇷 French.
⚠️ The workshops will take place with a minimum of 4 participants (and a maximum of 6). You will receive a confirmation email about 3 weeks before the first session. If the workshops are canceled you will get a full refund.
