🎯 Is This Workshop Right For You?

Prerequisites

To ensure you’ll get the most out of our workshops, you should meet these basic requirements:

– ✓ Comfortable using a sewing machine for basic assembly
– ✓ Basic understanding of sewing patterns
– ✓ Ability to cut fabric and follow written instructions

Workshop Format

Each session runs for 2 hours, providing you with focused, productive time to work on your projects. We’ve designed these workshops to accommodate busy schedules while ensuring you make meaningful progress on your creations.

🧵 What We Provide:

• Fabric scissors
• Thread snips and paper scissors
• Clips and pins
• Black and white thread
• Needles
• Pattern paper
• Pens and fabric chalk
• Basic supplies

Important: Please bring your own sewing machine and any colored thread you might need beyond basic black and white.

Two Ways to Participate

1. Bring Your Own Project

Have a specific project in mind? Perfect! Come with your machine, fabric, and pattern (or idea). We recommend reaching out beforehand to discuss your project – this allows us to better support you during the studio session.

2. Start Something New

Not sure what to make? We’re here to guide you! Contact us before the workshop to discuss your interests and skill level. We’ll help you choose from our curated selection of patterns and upcycling projects.

Upcycling Materials Guide

Give new life to old textiles! The following items work beautifully for upcycling projects:

– 👔 Non-stretch garments: Shirts, pants
– 🏠 Home textiles: Curtains, sheets, pillowcases
– 👕 Casual wear: Non-stretch t-shirts, old tote bags

Price for the session: 20€
Workshop will be in 🇬🇧 English and/or 🇫🇷  French.

The workshops take place at Lauwerecht 55, Utrecht.
